United Nations Association of Santa Barbara brings you Human Rights Day 2020 with Joshua Cooper. Fresh from reporting to the UN Human Rights Council in November, Joshua Cooper, Director of the Hawai’i Institute for Human Rights and co-chair of the US Human Rights Network’s Universal Periodic Review (UPR) Task Force, a national network of campaigners, updates us on what was reported at the UN. He is an expert on the UN system of human rights and an exceptional advocate of human rights nationally and internationally with both NGOs and governments, and frequently engaged in meetings and teaching around the globe.
