You Hold the Key to a Better Future. It’s all about Choice, Decisions, and Action
These profound words greet you as you open Grace Van Zel’s website.
In this Peace Podcast, we will explore how her choices and action have led her
to become a Financial Life Strategist, a speaker, author, mentor, and Philanthropist.
She is the founder and CEO of Aspire Group of Companies which includes the brands
Aspire Wealth Management, A Woman’s Financial Toolkit, and Your Legacy.
She has accomplished so much in her life. I asked her how? Was it her vision,
the coincidences, or being in the right place at the right time? Her answer will surprise you.
Propelled by her ability to take risks, she felt it was a combination of all three. Listen and you will see how she moved from financial struggles to becoming a philanthropist. As Grace says, “If I can do it so can you”.
Her amazing accomplishments are tied closely to Rotary. She joined Rotary in 2010 as a member at Rotary Club Benoni Aurora and served as president in 2015/16. I congratulated her February 2022 election to the Rotary International’s Action Group for Peace (RAGFP) representing Africa. Grace has served as Polio Plus Chair and Fundraising chair for the past 4 years.
As an avid peace builder, she formed the first Peace Builder club in Southern Africa in 2020. In 2021 she was instrumental in forming the Africa Peace hour and is a regional leader representing Southern Africa. Grace is also a peace ambassador for the Institute of Economics and Peace (IEP), a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, Benefactor, Bequest Society member, and a Paul Harris Society Member. Most recently Grace was given a Citation of Meritorious Service by the Trustees of the Rotary Foundation.
Grace is married to John Bintcliffe and has 3 children Charl, Chris & Danae. She is granny-mom to Zane who has just celebrated his 10th birthday. In her spare time, she enjoys entertaining, spending time with friends, camping, and attempts to master the saxophone through London’s Trinity College for Music.
