PEACE PODCAST · Barbara Gaughen-Muller Interviews Marla and Kasha Slavner, Award Winning Documentary Filmmakers

“Peace and Climate justice are more connected than we realize”, says Marla and Kasha Slavner, an award winning documentary, mother-daughter team. Listen to hear about their life’s experiences which led them into filmmaking. And when their first film The Sunrise Story Teller won 30 awards, they started on another documentary to inspire a unified movement for peace and climate justice:

Watch 1.5 Degrees of Peace trailer at the end of the video.

Why? Kasha, at 14 years, knew she had a calling for story telling and she could not be stopped. The camera she bought, with her own money, started her on her journey to create justice through film. She is now on a mission to show how intergenerational partnerships with youth activists and us “aged to perfection” older generation can create peace with the climate and each other.

This is a must see podcast for anyone who cares about life, the Earth and future generations. Check out their website: www.1point5degreesofpeace.com
