Catherine Cooley is the founder of PeaceablTM and is a communication and conflict coach and trainer who helps leaders and teams strengthen communication, collaboration, psychological safety and alignment, creating more empathic and productive workplace cultures.
Catherine discusses how we can overcome the disconnection, have a sense of shared belonging and become more creative in the workplace even when conflicts arise.
She is a Certified Trainer with the Center for Nonviolent
Communication (CNVC) and an Associate Trainer in 3×3 Empathy
Factors®, an approach based on Nonviolent Communication (NVC), developed by organizational development expert and author Marie Miyashiro and adapted specifically for organizations.
Catherine’s peacebuilding experience ranges from communication and conflict de-escalation training for schools and business teams to restorative dialogue in international faith-based communities and empathy and collaborative conflict transformation workshops in federal prison. She co-led an 18-month NVC training program that prepared community Peace Ambassadors in Nairobi, Kenya.
She serves as Community Service Director of the Rotary E-Club of World Peace, District 5330.
