Joyce Wycoff is an American writer, photographer, and digital artist whose work blends visual storytelling, curiosity, nature, and reflection on everyday beauty. She describes herself as an “omni-curious story hunter” and creates through photography, digital collage, and writing.

Wycoff’s art commonly begins with photographs she takes while wandering through parks, forests, neighborhoods, and other ordinary landscapes. She then develops those images into digital artworks and collage-like compositions that emphasize color, texture, memory, and what she calls “wildbeauty.”And stories that spark hope”.

Spark Stories for Conservation Action Joyce shares the inspiring story of two young Girl Scouts who fell in love with orangutans while earning their bronze award, leading them to campaign against palm oil in Girl Scout cookies through a PR campaign that eventually gained support from organizations like the Rainforest Action Network. Joyce emphasized the importance of finding stories about ordinary heroes taking action, staying in a “zone of hope” rather than feeling overwhelmed by gloom and doom messages about climate change. She explained that progress builds foundations for future action, even when complete success isn’t achieved immediately, and encouraged listeners to share spark stories to inspire others and create awareness about environmental and peace issues. Joyce discusses the importance of identifying possible scenarios like your peace guests share. Their “spark stories” inspire action and open conversations. Each podcast guest shares their inspiring story which highlights how their hope sparked actions and led them to explore ways to foster peace in our World which keeps their hope alive.
