Steve Killelea, is the CEO of the Institute of Economics and Peace (IEP) and a Global philanthropist focused on peace and our sustainable development. More than 20 years ago he established The Charitable Foundation, now one of the largest private overseas aid organizations in Australia which provides programs to the poorest communities in the world.
As you listen to Steve you will begin to see that peace is a word much used and it’s meaning is different for everyone. As Steve says peace begins with each of us and can be expressed in our own vivid and compelling ways. “Find your passion“ and you will see how your work and life will have meaning and purpose and the money will follow. He explains and shows the difference between negative and positive peace and how we can achieve more peaceful lives and communities. He goes on to show the high cost of violence and the true value of peace for our world.
He is the author of the book, PEACE IN THE AGE OF CHAOS, THE BEST SOLUTIONS FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE which is receiving high praise from readers on Amazon. A dear friend just finished reading it and said, “it is a personal story yet offers profound ways to bring peace to our world.”
