Father Larry Gosselin, began our Conversation with a spontaneous prayer to the Earth, our common home, as Mother Earth cries for our help. As you listen your spirit will become one with Larry’s unique form of spirituality that flowed from St. Francis. Story after story of being in the right place at The right time will show you the power of our thoughts and our gifts we can share with others.
Larry is a Franciscan of the Santa Barbara Province, California, and a“friar of the world”. His ministry and travels as a troubadour, following in the footsteps of Saint Francis of Assisi, reveal a wonder and adventure of joy, amazement, gratitude, and beauty. And his smile will charm and show you the power of a smile to bring peace.
Serving in Vietnam in the US Air Force, he was asked to carry Nuclear weapons into battle. “I can’t do this,” he told his commanding officer, I choose peace and I want to become a Friar after my service. Listen as you hear how this moment started his work for world peace and how his adventures turned into a book. His dedication “In Immense gratitude for you being a sacred landscape on the soil of the earth and the soul of my heart. May you always walk in the blessedness, goodness, grace and love.” Peace is our duty!
