PEACE PODCAST · Barbara Gaughen-Muller Interviews Jim Cox, founder Midwest Book Review #1 reviewer on Amazon
Jim Cox is a walking encyclopedia of book knowledge and the world’s best book reviewer!
As the founder of Midwest Book Review for thousands of authors, his reviews are #1 on Amazon.
Listen to see why he is the first stop for book authors, publishers and soon to be authors.
And if you are about to write your first book, First call Jim. His advice will be exactly what you need.
In 2012 Jim received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Global Ebook Awards Dinner.
I know I was the MC for this event along with actress Marilu Henner.

Established in 1976, the Midwest Book Review is an organization committed to promoting literacy, library usage, and small press publishing

The MBR publishes the following monthly book review magazines specifically designed for community and academic librarians, booksellers, and the general reading public:

  • The Bookwatch
  • California Bookwatch
  • Children’s Bookwatch
  • Internet Bookwatch (a compilation of The Bookwatch, Library Bookwatch, and Wisconsin Bookwatch)
  • Library Bookwatch
  • MBR Bookwatch (reviews by senior volunteer reviewers)
  • Reviewer’s Bookwatch (reviews by all other volunteer reviewers)
  • Small Press Bookwatch
  • Wisconsin Bookwatch

He  posts reviews on the Internet with a number of thematically appropriate web sites, databases, and online discussion groups such as alt.books.reviews. Our reviews are also available through Internet bookstores. We archive our reviews on the Midwest Book Review web site for a minimum of five years.
