The United Nations’ 2018 Rights to Peace Declaration states that everyone has the right to peace. Is this declaration achievable? Listen to Joe White as he describes how he has engaged hundreds of students, citizens and global agencies for A Year Without War (AYWW). Since 2010, when AYWW was initiated at Santa Barbara City College he has shared this dream with thousands. It starts with Member States of the UN extending the Olympics Truce from two months every two years to a full year in 2024.

AYWW has over 40,000 active participants from 120 nations. Joe has presented to the Vatican, the United Nations, the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates, innumerable local, state, and government agencies as well as global peace organizations. Joe received the 2019 UNA-Santa Barbara Peace Prize for his vision for A Year Without War. His passion is definitely about creating peace on our precious planet.
