PEACE PODCAST · Katherine Hughes-Fraitekh. A Rotary Peace Fellow and An Expert on Peace Building

This is a Peace Podcast you will watch again and again with guest Ms. Hughes-Fraitekh, an expert on peace building and social justice movements. Our world is her learning center. She co-founded and serves as Executive Director for Solidarity 2020 and Beyond https://solidarity2020andbeyond.org/, an international network of grassroots peacebuilders, activists, journalists and scholars in 85+ countries working on 100+ movements for justice, freedom, women’s rights, indigenous and land rights, self-determination, and environmental justice.

As I read her resume, I realized Katheine is an encyclopedia of wisdom for peace in action, human rights, justice and conflict resolution. Not only are her degrees impressive but she is a bridge to sustainable peace with justice.

Katherine is also very active in the Rotary Peace Fellow Alumni Group, has completed the 2020 mid-career program at Chulalongkorn University,Thailand, provided training for the Rotary Action Group For Peace on synergizing nonviolent action and Peacebuilding and participated in the Rotary International Peace Conference in Birmingham, Alabama. She is a true global citizen.

She shares her major lessons learned, key challenges and actions we can take to support peace without violence and how to end war in our beautiful world.
